Abstract

Spectroscopic techniques for the measurement of plasma parameters are reviewed for a range oftemperatures up to 106ºK. Tables and figures of useful data have been prepared orhave been collected from the literature for ready application to experimental measurements. Theproblem of making spatially resolved intensity measurements in an optically thin axisymmetric plasmacolumn is discussed.
